Guided Fishing Trip on Eagle Lake with Tom Loe of Sierra Drifters Guide Service Opens, June 15,16,17
Hi friends:
Sorry about the lack of updates to the website fish report. Doug R. and I are currently up at Eagle Lake for the entire month and it is difficult to post updates.
I have a client who had his partner cancel last minute on June 15, 16, 17 for an Eagle Lake trip. He is offering to pay for lodging and food if you split the cost of the trip. Call us if you are interested please at 760-935-4250. It has been excellent at Eagle this month with 40 a day coming to net, they average 18 inches. Doug has a couple days open also and they are posted on the Eagle Lake page of the website.
Crowley has been on and off with some algae starting to show in a few places. Numbers have been great this year with alot of browns showing in the counts. Midges rule, look to fish around the inlets in 11-16 feet. Stay off the weeds!
The Lower Owens is also fishing better despite the higher flows. The cooler weather has made the afternoons more comfortable. Best bite is in the mornings with slower fishing as the sun gets higher in the Owens Valley.
I'll get out a detailed update on other areas soon.
