http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFlows remain in the awesome range at 119 CFS. So far irrigation has not affected the flows too much. We have had enough cool weather and precipitation to hold off the water to area farms.
Fish continue to key on Caddis, small Mayflies and Golden Stone nymphs. High sticking, indicator rigs and dry dropper set-ups are all worth a try right now. There have been a bunch of fish hanging out around the edges near deeper water and approaching an area with a Stone Dry or a hopper pattern and fishing the edges before Nymphing the deeper pools can be affective as well. Keep an eye on the flows and daytime air temps. If it starts to get warm and dry the water could go up as well.
