Shallow water/surface fishing has been the name of the game as of late. Today captain Greg on the Island Spirit had a solid bite on calico bass to go along with several rockfish. Conditions are stable and the water is warming up again nicely!

ON-DECK for FRIDAY

PACIFIC DAWN departs tonight at 10:00PM for an overnight trip to the outer islands. They will be in search of white seabass and barn door halibut. After a while they will load you up with grumpy red snapper and toothy lingcod. Sorry folks, this trip is SOLD OUT.

ISLAND SPIRIT departs at 6:00AM for a 3/4 day surface fishing trip. Calico bass, and barracuda are your target species, but halibut and white seabass are never out of the question for the "spirit".
