https://seaadventure80boat.com/Scott McDaniels calls in from the Sea Adventure 80 100 miles from San Diego, "We are now working our way up the line.Rerally good sign here today as far as the color of water. We ended up with 5 Yellowtail, a couple of Bonita. We had a 60 lb. Bluefin on bait, a bait fish, a 60 lb. Bluefin for 20 minutes and color. Ohh, it was a heart breaker, it got away. The whole boat watched it sink out. Ohh, it was hard to take, a big Bluefin!
"Anyway what's different this year is that the kelps and everything is in good water. There are lots of kelps with bait on them, so there is lots of bait around here. Other boats are around here with a few Yellowtail also. We're looking forward to having the fish swim on in. Nice beautiful water last year at this time and the year before we had green water out here. So we are looking at blue water, kelps with bait, a handful of Yellowtail apiece per boat.
"Guys are starting to see a few tuna. We caught a tuna on our last trip, there was another tuna caught yesterday. And we had a chance at a nice big tuna, it just happened to get away.
"Things are starting to perk up. We ended up with 12 fishermen on here for this particular trip. We are going out with light loads so don't be afraid to make a reservation. The boat is going to be running from H & M Landing. This is Sea Adventure 80 and we hope that you will call 619-222-1144. Make sure to ask for Sea Adventure 80 we'll get you out here on one of these early spring, soon to be summer Tuna Trips."
