"Arriving on scene a few hours after daylight," said the report from American Angler June 29, "we had high hopes after hearing some of the other guys and their morning drifts, we were very excited. Needless to say, we were late to that party.
After a little bit of time looking around, we were able to get a few jig strikes and stop the boat on 18 to 25-pound bluefin, and between the jig strikes we hit a few kelps scratching away at some offshore yellowtail.
Around afternoon snack we were in the mid hool and were able to land 43 bluefin tuna in that stop and end our day."
