Our annual 2 day trip aboard the PACIFIC STAR out of PIERPOINT LANDING was another great trip. Capt Mike and his crew greeted us and told us the plan was to go to Tanner Banks in hopes of some Yellowtail and rockfish and day 2 would be spent at San Clemente Island. The weather there was a liitle on the rough side when we arrived at Tanner Banks and there were no yellow tail to be found. The rockfishing was constant and by the end of the day we had our limits. Day 2 was spent shallow water fishing for Calicos and hopefully an exotic. We did manage one halibut for our efforts and some nice quality Calicos. For a great fishing experiance you can call them at 562-983-9300 o schedule your next trip.
