https://www.searchersportfishing.comHello Anglers,
Today we fished 90 miles south of San Diego. There was some good fishing for several boats in this area today. Unfortunately we had to work for every fish. We ended up with 42 albacore and 1 bluefin tuna.
The encouraging thing is the distance between the areas of fish--it's about twenty miles with signs of albies throughout.
The weather is good--less than 15 knots of wind and a 4-6 foot swell.
Hopefully we can get the fish located early and stay on them all day.
More tomorrow,
Capt Art

At 10 a.m. the boat had 15 albacore aboard, in the 20# size. They pick up a few at every stop and they're in the "tuna zone." We'll check in again tonight.......
