Good. The Powerhouse #2 riffle is crowded, as always, but has been fishing well, especially for anglers nymphing the faster water upstream. There are some little yellow stones and good evening caddis hatches coming off.

Nymphs, streamers, and dries...they all have their place on Hat Creek, and the most effective anglers experiment with all three techniques depending on the time of day and water type.
