"Today was a great all-around day," noted the report from Searcher July 27. "Most of our morning we spent going from kelp to kelp, catching yellowtail and dorado. After lunch the tuna seemed to make a appearance. We had a big school of bluefin tuna that we drifted with for a few hours and had some fast action for the first part and then it turned into a couple at a time. After that we found another school late in the day for a few more tuna. All and all, it was a great day. The yellowtail were up to 18 pounds and the bluefin were up to 50 pounds. The dorado were around 8 pounds. So we're gonna move up the line and try to do what we did today tomorrow."
