BASS:
14 year old Jacob Gaitan, pictured above from Santee caught an 8 lb. 5 oz. Bass out of lake 5 on texas rig. That is an impressive catch. Great job. This fish was released back into lake 5.
CATFISH:
This past Thursday Santee Lakes hosted another summer nightfishing event with 130 anglers in attendance.
Don Miranda's group caught 5 Bass and 1 Catfish. Largest Bass weighed in at 5 lbs.
Mike Schaar from Temecula caught 3 Catfish out of lake 3.
Mickey Rogers, Photo #1 from San Diego caught a nice 3 lb. 12 oz. Catfish out of lake 4 on mackerel.
Lakes 3 and 4 received a stock of Catfish this past Friday and Camper Only Lakes 6 and 7 also received a stock of Catfish.
