The Shoguns first day back out was a slow start

This morning started off on the slow side. With the flat calm weather that is upon this area off of baja, we had high hopes in catching lots of albacore. By mid-afternoon, it was getting tough, we were seeing fish on the machines, watching other boats around us stop, and sort of waiting for our turn, inbetween the short stops of albacore. As 18:00 rolled around, our stops were improving rapidly, and by the time of night fall we were in full blown albacore mayhem! In the corner, on the heavy string, yelling, laughing, bloody and wet, it was fine way to end up the day.

Welcome back!! Yes, its about time. Today we left on Willie's five day charter. This afternoon we ran across a few kelps that were holding a bunch of yellowtail and then right before dark Norman drove us into a biting school of albacore in which we landed 21 out of. The key words are "Today we left on". Yes, all this action and flat calm weather happened right outside the coronados. Its a beautiful thing. If you all didn't already......
