Both the Island Spirit and Pacific Eagle enjoyed perfect weather at the islands today. Pacific Eagle departed at 4AM in search of exotics with no showing, so they moved outside and loaded up on the red snapper. Some lingcod, sculpin and whitefish also in the mix. Island Spirit had a 3/4 day charter depart this morning. They also had excellent rockfishing, but made a move in the afternoon to try and catch bass with no biters.. just a couple of barracuda.

Still, very happy anglers and everyone had big bags of fish! We will be fishing again on MONDAY. Both the Pacific Eagle and Island Spirit will be out. Be sure to call and reserve a spot if your coming! 805-676-3474

RETURNING IN OCTOBER!!! Pacific Dawn will be returning to Ventura Sportfishing in early October 2012. Now booking private charters and open overnight and multi-day trips. Call for more information.
