Hello from the Independence, We are out on our annual Steven's Brothers 6 day adventure, our first day here has been a success on the nice grade yellowfin and bluefin tuna. The fish are mostly 25 to 45 lbs. with the best fish right at 50 lbs. we barely missed our daily limits today by just a handful of fish, the gang is stoked to have this type of fishing on the first day of the trip. The weather is OK with about 12 to 15 knots of wind and a mild sea state to work with. We are planning to try this again tomorrow. We have a few openings for the next trip departing on Sat. 9/1 for 7 days, with the way the fishing has been it's time to play hooky and do a Little hooking.
