http://www.excelsportfishing.comWe put another good score together today here in the lower zone. The best fishing was in the morning where we had the tuna on the corner eating everything in the water. Again the fish were 12-25 pounds for the most part with some 40 pounders mixed in. There were also a few more wahoo caught while looking around. After our morning fix, we decided to head out to a temperature break looking for kelps or anything else floating that might have fish built up on it. Just as we were going to throw in the towel, we found a kelp that was loaded up with huge dorado. They bit all the way into the dark for us and we weighed several fish in the 30-42 pound range. We lost one at gaff that looked easily over 50 pounds. Bummer. Unfortunately we have to leave this area because Hurricane Ileana is headed up this way and we don't want to take any chances. Tomorrow will be spent looking offshore for more tuna, dorado, or wahoo. Wish us luck.
