"Another fun day here on the Intrepid," said the report for August 30, "with great weather, fish holds stuffed, football games on the big screen, we are enjoying the good times for sure. We found the quality Tuna we were looking for today, although they did not bite as well as they showed. It was quite impressive watching a very nice school of Bluefin in the 30 to 60-pound range blowing up all around us for awhile. We managed to land a handful of great quality Bluefin and Yellow fin along with a few nice Dorado for our day. We also found a couple of schools of football sized Yellowfin that wanted to bite, but everyone here chose to release them to grow into bigger models as we have plenty and we drove away from them each time. We have the morning tomorrow before we call it a trip and what a GREAT trip it has been."
