The Marlin Club of San Diego cordially invites you to participate in their most prestigious Marlin tournament of the year. The 52nd Annual Gene Grimes ILTT (International Light Tackle Tournament) for 2012. This tournament dates back to the early 1950's with many of the top Marlin fisherman in San Diego and LA counties participating.
The ILTT will be held on Sept. 21st-23rd, with fishing on the 21st and 22nd and the awards party will be held on the 23rd.

1st place boats will get a Custom made Marlin Bait Caster equipped with a Shimano Trinidad reel. Up to 4 per boat, one for each angler. Valued at over $3200 for winning the tournament.
2nd Place will receive a $400 gift certificate to Fisherman's Landing $100 Gift certificate for Everingham Bait and a Gift Bag full of Garb.
3rd Place will Receive a Shimano Reel and Everingham Bait certificate.
There will also be a raffle with thousands of dollars in prizes for all who participate, thank you to our tournament sponsors.

We have spiced up the Awards Dinner to add some fun and relaxation for all who participate and their families and friends. There will be a catered Dinner of Quarto Milpas one of the oldest and best Mexican Carnitas restaurants in San Diego. They make Tacos that can't be beat by anyone. We will also be grilling fresh fish for those who would prefer. Entertainment will be provided by a local Band that plays a combination of great Jazz while you dine, and Classic Rock for after, while you wait for the awards. Dancing is encouraged. Earlybird sign-ups have a chance to win a Fuel Gift card from our local sources, Must have entry form to the club prior to Saturday Sept 15th. 
Captains meeting will be held Thursday the 20th at 6:30 pm at the SD Marlin Club. At least one member of the team must be present.
