And the Bass bite continues to be good.
Tyler Bailey of Lakeside caught a good sized 6.5 lb. Bass on a night Crawler out of Lake 4.
Also out of Lake 4 a 6 lb. Bass was caught off a senko by Troy Valade of Santee.
Bass Is Catch and release only
CATFISH:
Paul and Landon Earehart, pictured came out to Santee Lakes last week and caught a nice stringer of 5 catfish. It was Landons first time catching a catfish coming out of lake 4 at 4.3 lbs. Way to go Landon!
TROUT:
Trout Season begins on Saturday November 3rd.
Be ready for it.
Recipe of the Week:
Catfish with Tahini Sauce
Ingredients
• 1 1/2 pounds catfish fillets
• 1/3 cup tahini
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
• salt to taste
• 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions
1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a baking dish and arrange the catfish in a single layer.
2. Bake in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork, 45 to 60 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, whisk together the tahini, garlic, water, and lemon juice; season with salt. Once the fish is done, cut it into 1 inch cubes, and pour the tahini sauce over top. Sprinkle with parsley to garnish
