Good evening from all of us on the Independence, today we fished yellowtail and got our limits of nice 16 to 25 pound fish, We caught fish on both jigs and bait with Squid being the hot ticket fished with 40 lb. test and an egg sinker. The weather is very nice and looks to be good the next couple of days. We are changing gears and will spend the rest of the trip looking for tuna offshore with the good weather forecast in hand.
