Del Valle Lake is turning over so the water clarity is not good, but the fishing is

Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: November 19, 1,250 lbs. of Trout were planted. Water Temperature: 58 degrees

Water clarity is very poor. The lake is turning over so all of the dediment is unsettled. The trout bite is picking up this week. They are hitting on PowerBait, Kastmasters, Roostertails and egg/worm combos. The Stripers are starting to turn on. They have been hitting rainbow trout swimbait and Anchovies.

Black bass and smallmouth bass are still productive. The best lures have been Rat-l-trps and Panther Martins. They are no longer hitting surface lures. The Catfishi are still biting. They re hitting mackerela, sardines and anchovies.
