First of all I want to thank everyone who came down to the landing yesterday to see our catch. Our Braid Products 16-day trip returned to Fishermans Landing yesterday in the early morning. The trip produced 42 fish over 200 pounds and another 20 fish from 191-199 pounds. The overall grade was awesome. The highlight of the morning was when John Petruescu's fish went an amazing 445.0 pounds on the certified scale at the landing. This makes Johns yellowfin tuna the largest one ever caught. Great job! I want to congratulate everyone who was a part of this trip. Jackpot winners were: 1st. Place John Petruescu 445.0 yellowfin, 2nd place Al Merrick 302.0 yellowfin, his personal best, and 3rd place Tony Garza 286.0 yellowfin. We will see you guys next year!
