"Capt. Brian called in tonight to give us today's first days fishing conditions," related the report from American Angler January 11. "They had steady action on 60 to 120-pounders with a minority of those being 160 to 190's.
The highlight of the day was first-time passenger, Ron Bryan, who joined the big leagues on his first big tuna fishing trip with a whopping 324-pounder and the feel-good story of the day was John Flocken hooking and handing to his (first time long range fishing) brother Edward a tuna which he landed. It was a once in a lifetime 232-pounder."
