http://www.fishingvideos.comBob Michener of Oxnard, known to most long rangers as "Scrappy," recently caught his 50th cow on red Rooster III, a yellowfin tuna over 200 pounds. All were caught on Accurate ATD reels.
Jack Nilsen of Accurate remarked, "I loaned Bob a prototype ATD 30 reel during our final testing on the ATD series about 15 years ago aboard the Q-105. I think maybe it was 1997. After that trip, he switched over to Accurate reels and began buying them. He bought the whole set, the first reels for sale, number 24 of all the ATD series: 12, 20, 50 and 50 W reels. Later, when we started making the ATD 80 series, he bought number 23, since 24 was already sold. "I was impressed with his stamina at his age, and I still am. He's sharp about fishing; he notices what's going on. He still has the lowest serial number of an ATD 30 remaining in use; number 24, the first production reel for sale."
