Several anglers reported full 25 fish limits on slabs to 2.5 lbs. Trolling CD Rapalas in the naroows was the hot ticket. Although mini jigs tipped with crappie nibble or a mealworm worked in Santa Cruz Bay as well.

Trout fishing has been on the slow side. Most of the trollers opted to go after the slabs. People fishing off of E Point managed to land some nice 'bows for their stringer using PowerBait or inflated worms.

The Bass bite is slowly improving as both largemouth and smallmouth begin to move up to secondary points. Cranks, jigs, texas rigs and senkos all reportedly took fish to 5 lbs. Carp are up all over the lake in the mornings, though best locations are the narrows and Cachuma Bay. Only a few catfish were taken this week, most of those catches were incidental while fishing for trout.
