Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On February 21, 2013 500 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted.
Water Temperature: 58 Degrees

The water clarity was minimal which probably was the reason that the fishing at Del Valle Lake was so slow.

One angler caught some smallmouth Bass using crickets. Trout seem to be hitting nightcrawlers, Mice Tails or PowerBait. Some anglers are catching trout using Rapalas, spinner bait and rooster tails. Striped Bass fishing has picked up a little using rainbow trout Rapalas. The Catfish bite seems to be picking up slightly. The Cats are hitting on anchovies.
