"We arrived out here at the bank just after 9:30 a.m. this morning," said the report from Intrepid March 5, "and began to look around for some sign. Wahoo were our main target to start and they did not disappoint us. Things started out a little slow, but as the day progressed the fishing got better and better. We ended up boating 81 Wahoo up to 60-plus pounds and 36 Tuna up to 140 pounds for our day! The Catchy Tackle Gang, led by John Grindley, had a very good day, as John put on a clinic catching many nice skinnies. We are loading up on flyers at the moment and even have some of our friends out there catching them too. Thanks Doug and Steve! Every fresh kite bait helps out! We are all set up and looking forward to more fun times tomorrow."
