Bass fishing has been fair on spinner baits, cranks, and jigs as fish move up into shallow water. Smallmouth for the most part have not shown in numbers as of yet. We should see their spawn soon.

Trout fishing has been slow and the best action we have seen is trolling. The best location is by the dam wand you need to be around 2 colors. Lure choices have been Rapalas and needlefish. On Tuesday March 19th we will be receiving a 4,000 lb plant to boost the trout population for the upcoming annual trout derby.

Windy conditions have put the damper on the Crappie bite that was in the Narrows. We expect it to begin again with more stable weather. Catfish are beginning to show for shore anglers on cut mackerel. Bow fishing for Carp has been very good in both the morning and evening hours for huge fish almost anywhere in the lake.
