Bass and Trout action are both very good at Lake Del Valle.

Park Hours: 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Last Plant: On March 14, 2013 750 lbs. of Trout from Mt. Lassen were planted.
Water Temperature: 59 Degrees

Water Clarity: Is minimal.

The Bass bite is really starting to take off now. Stripers are on the bite up by the Dam and so are the Largemouths & Smallmouths. But Trout are still the ,most active. There are almost perfect conditions for trout right now. Stripers are hitting Anchovies and Trout Swimbait. Smallmouth, Largemouth & Black Bass are hitting Rat-L-Traps and Anchovies. Trout are hitting PowerBait, Mice Tails and Nightcrawlers. The Catfish action has been slow this week. The last fish plant was on 4/3/2013 with 500 lbs. planted from Mt. Lassen.
