Trout fishing slowed probably due to summer like conditions which caused the temperatures in the lake to raise 3 to 4 degrees. There were some good catches made on foggy mornings by trolling 3 to 5 colors of leadcore with dodger/crawler combos. The best lures for trolling have been flat lining Rapalas and Kastmasters. Shore anglers had mixed results on PowerBait and inflated worms at Marina Point and E Point.

The Bass bite has been better almost every day for either largies or smallies who have been caught close to the bank. Top water lures, blades irp baits all came into play.

Crappie action was fair on mini jigs or trolled C.D. Rapalas in the 3 to 5 size. Catfish made their presence known s well this last week, soaking mackerel in the narrows or Cachuma Bay. Bow fishing for Carp has been good early on overcast mornings ll over the lake. The Chalk cliffs and Sedar flats were the best spots in the late afternoon.
