H&M Landing reported nine yellowtail for the ?? day boat and 103 legal calico bass for the half day boat Wednesday, May 29. Pt. Loma had 71 calico bass of legal size and two sand bass.

Seaforth's ?? day boat San Diego caught seven yellowtail and 18 barracuda Wednesday.

Helgren's Sportfishing in Oceanside reported a yellowtail caught on the Oceanside 95 Tuesday and 32 short barracuda released Wednesday, indicating that surface fishing is getting more productive as gamefish move north.
