https://www.searchersportfishing.com"Today another boat from our fleet (Shogun) found some bluefin and yellowfin tuna at 170 miles from San Diego," wrote Art Taylor, owner-skipper of the Searcher. "The bluefin were 40 to 100 pounds and the yellowfin were 15 to 25 pounds. There was a single dorado in the count as well. There are other boats in the same zone today, so stay tuned! Our first trip is a 5-day from June 25 to 30 and there are a few spots left if you'd like to be part of the start to the tuna and yellowtail season."

"We had a great day at Cedros Island today," wrote Art Taylor June 15, "in spite of the tough conditions, 20 to 30 knots of wind, for most of the day. We had good fishing for 14 to 18-pound yellowtail, with steady action for most of the day. "The majority of the fish were caught on live bait with a flyline rig of 30 to 40-pound line and a 2/0 hook.
