1045: Captain Jason on the Dolphin called in to report some hungry bass this morning, with a mix of 50 legal calicos and sand bass already boated and plenty more still biting. They are enjoying great weather out on the water as well.

Upcoming Trips

The Prowler has two 1.5 day trips planned for this weekend . The first leaving Thursday night and the second leaving Saturday night.

ThePacific Queen has a 1.5 day trip leaving Friday night. Boats on 1.5 day trips have returned this weekend with limits of Yellowtail. Weather, water conditions, and temperature indicate great fishing.

The Dolphin has been getting into a nice mix of surface and bottom fishing. Dropping down gets you good rockfish fishing with a shot at lings, halibut, and sheephead. Closer to the surface you will find the calico bass are biting and now barracuda as well.
