"Our weather today was just beautiful," reported Royal Polaris July 11, "with flat seas, sunny, and warm. We did have some early morning fog, but by 10:30 hours, it was clear skies. Our fishing was good for those who fished. Most of our anglers are still recovering from the excellent Bluefin bite. Most of the Yellowtail were in the 18 to 25-pound range, with a few going over the 30-pound mark. Our afternoon was spent catching Calico Bass. We did make a tank of bait last night and we will give this a try again tomorrow, then take off for points north of here."
