The weather continues to cooperate allowing us to scan the horizon looking for action. We had a Shogun first when a kelp gave up two large bookends. After lengthy battles, spectra coming and going, two large opah hit the deck. Tomorrow we plan to finish the trip fishing albacore.

We cleared the point by 13:30 and are heading on a southerly course through the myriad of seiners and tow boats. The weather has come down quite a bit which will help in the effort of offshore exploration tomorrow. ......
