Fishing Conditions: There is good fishing on the Upper Owens, from the Bridge to Monument. Be aware: BARBLESS ARTIFICIALS ONLY ABOVE BRIDGE.
Recommended Lures: Rainbow trout and cd-1 and cd-3 rapalas, small green rooster tails, small silver kastmasters, thomas bouyants and fly and bubble with small wooly bugger type streamer. Try drifting an attractor pattern (pheasant tail, copper john) with a bubble or bobber.
Recommended Bait: Nightcrawlers, salmon eggs, micetails.
Guide's Hint: Lots of fry in the water, time to throw small lures like kastmasters and small rapalas. Bigger sizes will still get the job done.
