Catfish dominated the action last week and Kitties to 6 lbs. were weighed in at the marina. The best location was Santa Cruz Bay, although Cachuma Bay and Johnson's also worked for the Cats. Cut mackerel and nightcrawlers were the most effective bait.

The Bass bite picked up some. There have been reports of shad along the banks. But most fish are down about 20' in the water column.

Crappie are still coming in from Santa Cruz and near the cistern. Mini-jigs and trolled C.D.3 Rapalas are taking slabs in 20' to 30' of water. Only a handful of trout were taken last week. Most of those taken were drifting worms near the dam. Bow fishing for Carp is good in the morning at the mouth of Clark canyon.
