http://www.crowleylakefishcamp.comCrowley has continued to be pretty good this past week, McGee Bay, and the North Arm are both producing fish. I'm still spending most of my time in 9 to 10 feet of water in McGee Bay. Most days we are getting 2 or 3 big fish over 18
inches, and several in the 16 to 17 inch range.
There are still lots of the small 10 to 12 inch browns to weed through, but the good ones will show up also. I've been starting out with a small Punk Perch or a small Bead Head Birds Nest as my top fly, on the bottom, either an Albino Baron, or a Copper Tiger. Again, once the midges start hatching, I've been switching over to grey. A large Super Fly on top, and a small
Shaft on the bottom. Once the bug vanish, go back to the Copper Tiger on the bottom.
The fish in the North Arm are a little more spread out. Look for them just outside of Green
Banks Bay in 10 to 12 feet of water. Small perch patterns on top, with either a Copper Tiger or Copper Zebra on the bottom.
