http://www.ndow.orgFishing pressure at Wayne E. Kirch WMA has been low this week. The WMA is experiencing daily thunder storms and the roads are muddy and slippery. Fishing remains good in most reservoirs. Cold Springs and Haymeadow continue to produce trout as large as 16 inches. PowerBait has been catching the fish. Bass fishing has been good for anglers throwing spinners and plastics near the dam or submerged weed beds. Trout fishing on Adams-McGill has been steady and bass fishermen are finding good action, especially at the upper end of the reservoir. Use weedless and top-water rigs to avoid snags. Fishing has been slow for both bass and rainbows at Dacey. Water temperatures are hovering around 69 degrees, and aquatic vegetation is starting to surface. For a smoother ride into the management area, access Kirch by using the northern county road near the headquarters complex.
