Skipper Andy Cates weighed his fish after the four-day Charkbait trip that arrived at H&M Sportfishing September 9. The group fished offshore and at Cedros Island for limits of yellowfin tuna and 64 bluefin tuna, some of which were very large, as Pacific bluefin go. There were also 21 dorado in the catch.

Second Place: 135.2-pound bluefin taken by Melissa McBratney of San Diego
Third Place: 134.8-pound bluefin decked by Brandon Young of Torrance
