"We stopped on lots of kelps today," said the report from Royal Polaris September 9, "but only a few had fish on them."

As the sun was setting, Eddie found a very large kelp. It held a lot of fishand it was game on for about 30 minutes for all aboard. This kelp had Dorado, Yellowtail, and Yellowfin tuna. The Dorado on the kelp were in the 15 to 20 pound range, and they were biting in a good way. The fish bit into the night, and we tried to hit the kelp one more time but it was empty this time. Our day started slow, but ended on a good note. We are now headed north, since we had good reports of Bluefin tuna on the bite
