We made it down here to Clarion Island around 0900 this morning and took a quick look around before going in for a very smooth check in. It didn't take to long to locate some fish afterwards and we put together a good first day with 28 Yellow fin and a couple handfuls of nice grade Wahoo. There were several new personal best landed today as we have a few first time long range folks with us on this adventure. One highlight was Brian Sanford landing a nice Wahoo on a jig his daughter made and painted for him to use on his fishing trip. How cool is that!! Our new friends Steve and Karla Bernier both landed their biggest Tuna ever today! Samantha Eggert and Eric Henderson both landed personal best today as well. It was just a really fun day of fishing among friends and sharing in the moments created together. After a great dinner of Veal Parmesan everyone is out on the deck catching bait having a good time with the music playing . We will be right here to start our day tomorrow. Wish us luck..
