Just got a call from Capt. Frank aboard the DOMINATOR and so far things are going great and only getting better. 16 Bluefin Tuna, 4 Yellowfin Tuna to 45lbs, 14 fat Dorado and LIMITS of Yellowtail. Great weather, great fishing and they are in easy one day range on this 1.5 day trip so all day left to fish. Frank is stoked, they even had a jig strike while calling in this count!!!! Stay tuned.

The EL CAPITAN returned this morning with a boat load of fish. 17 anglers pulled in 85 Bluefin Tuna, 47 Yellowfin Tuna, 17 Dorado and 21 Yellowtail. Capt. Alan reports great weather, epic fishing and its getting better daily!!! Capt. Alan has been hot on the fish, do not miss out on this amazing season the fleet is enjoying all around.

MISSION BELLE has hit LIMITS of Yellowtail multiple days in a row with a few Dorado in there to keep things interesting. *BLUEFIN TUNA TACKLE*

On these schools of tuna, DO NOT BOTHER WITH LINE LIGHTER THAN 30LB TEST. You want to have at least one rig with 50-60lb line and it wouldn't hurt to maybe have an 80lb rig. Hooks can be 2/0-5/0 and paired with fluorocarbon will be your best bet at landing these not so gentle giants. 2 speed reels can make a world of difference. If your trip is overnight or longer, plan tackle accordingly.
