Justin Fleck checked in from the Excel with this report. "Yesterday we fished down the beach for some Yellowtail. We had some good action in the morning, we were able to get on the right school. We had good action for quite awhile. It was a good grade of fish 18 to 30 lbs. I think everybody got a few of them. We kept working at it throughout the day scratching here and there. We made a nice day of it on that Yellowtail.

"We decided to make a move down while we had a break in the weather. We checked out Alijos Rocks. We rolled in here late this morning and all this Wahoo moved up on the shallows and we had fantastic Wahoo fishing. We kept busy until about 3:00 o'clock and then the current changed. The Wahoo got a little stale and just stopped biting altogether. We're going to spend the nite here and hope for better conditions in the morning. We'll take another wack at them before we move up and try for that offshore tuna towards the end of our trip. We'll check in again tomorrow."
