Hi Gang, What an awesome way to end an already great trip! Today we located some good grade school sized tuna (20 to 50 pounds) and had some fast paced action. Everyone on board had a blast and we finished off our quota of tuna for the trip. The outfit that was working best was 40 pound with a 40 pound fluorocarbon leader and a 2/0 live bait hook. A lot of these fish were hooked right next to the boat so a belly hooked or shoulder hooked sardine was working good. We called it a trip in the afternoon and started our travel north. To top off our good day of fishing, Chefs Mark and Kyle put out an Intrepid Dinner buffet. Crab, shrimp, sushi, and so many other dishes that most guys had to go for seconds just to try it all.
