We arrived in the zone just after lunch and found a school of Tuna that reacted very well, but would not bite for us. Around 1:00pm we came across a very good school hanging deep in the water column. For the first 30 min. they would not bite, but they gradually came up and we began to pick away at the beautiful grade Bluefin for the next 5 hours. It was a classic Bluefin style plunker drift with 1-4 hanging and a few breaking the surface up swell. Everyone was able to hook into one with a few hot sticks boating 3 or 4 Tuna. There was also the occasional Dorado in the mix. We will get the sea-anchor out and give it a half day tomorrow before we call it a trip, and what a trip it has been.. "The Intrepid Team"
