What a way to start our trip! We hit a few kelps on the way here for some Dorado. We made it to the Rocks just after lunch and the Wahoo were here waiting for us. The fishing was good! We caught many nice sized Wahoo on both the jigs and a choice sardine on the wire leader. The Wahoo were in the 30-40 lb range with a couple of standout skin in the 50-60 lb range. The Yellowfin were also eager to bite and we made it through one kite rotation from 1:00 pm till dark. The live squid we caught last night worked very well on the nice grade Tuna. Charter master Richard Hightower from Newell Reels and Seaguar Fluorocarbon landed a couple of quality Alijos Skin today. Lets see what day 2 will be like for us!! Wish us Luck.. "The Intrepid Team"
