We got away from the dock early, as in 09:00 and this ended up being a good thing. As Shogun cleared the point, we heard some radio chatter that some albacore were being caught. Norman set a course for a drive-by on our way south. Once we arrived in the area, we found schools of biting albacore. This HSU group is one of the luckiest charters we have here aboard the Shogun and they are proving it again!! We ended our afternoon, evening with over fifty albacore and our weather is great.

Today we went further offshore looking for some sort of tuna. We headed west of the area we were in yesterday, out in deep water. We saw lots of good conditions but unfortunately we did not see any tuna. We caught six yellowtail for the day. The weather is still great and the forecast looks good for the next week. Capt Kevin is running the next trip, so we'll get some reports from him.......
