http://www.fishingvideos.com"We had another great day here on the Intrepid," said the report for November 16. "The morning brought on a nice bite with a couple more cows and a dozen more between 120 to 180 pounds. Then all the current died away around 10:30 A.M., so we switched gears and went on the hunt for Wahoo. We had a decent bite on the tasty speedsters until 2 P.M. when the current came back alive and called us back into Big Tuna mode as we could see 150-pounders blowing up on Flyers as we trolled. Set up, got to work and bam, they went off! The kite was producing as fast as you could imagine, instant bites at times, as soon as the baits hit the water. There was one bite on the Double Trouble rig, two 120 to 150-pounders ate both baits simultaneously and went off in separate directions. Not good, the leaders exploded with the double crashing of the big fish. There were also many hook-ups on the fly-lined sardines and mackerel this evening. Some Wahoo joined the party too. A couple more cows came aboard this evening, one for Steve Saucedo, who has broken his personal best Tuna record three times in the last couple of days, ending with his first-ever Cow Tuna tonight. With plenty of Yellowfin on board we are heading up which will give us a day to look around for some Dorado and Yellowtail to break up the journey home.
