Fishing remains solid at the Channel Islands. We have seen several nice lingcod caught over the last couple trips, like this one pictured here. Chyerl caught this 18lb lingcod on a recent trip aboard the Pacific Dawn. The local islands have been putting out some quality too. Island Spirit and Pacific Eagle have had some nice red snapper to go along with a few slug lingcod and sheephead.

We have a weather front going through the area right now, but looks to clear Thursday or Friday. Windy with a chance of rain for Tuesday and Wednesday.. thus the reason our boats have not gone out. We look forward to getting back out there toward the end of the week!

Loads have been lite too!  ..even on the weekends the boats are selling out, so come injoy a little elbow room with us here in Ventura!!!
