Current Lake Conditions: Winter snows have closed in ending the 2013 season on Manzanita. Can you still fish here? Yes, but you'll want to bring snow shoes and maybe plan on making a snow man or two. The fishing is going to be slow.

Pay attention to the special regulations here, especially where you can and can't fish. Barbless hooks, artificial lures, catch and release. Make sure you inquire at the park entrance.

Klamath River - Upper - CA: Steelhead fishing on the Klamath River has been great!
Sacramento River - Lower: Fishing has been great on the Lower Sacramento! Flows are low at 3,962 CFS which is normal
Pit River: The Pit River has produced some good fishing but the snow makes access difficult
Trinity River: It's a great time to fish the Trinity, water conditions will be great thru next week as temps warm
Sacramento River - Upper: Fishing will be tough on the Upper Sacramento due to snow melt.
Baum Lake: December is one of the best months to fish Baum Lake
Iron Canyon Reservoir: Too much snow right now at Iron Canyon Reservoir to recommend for fishing
McCumber Reservoir: It snowed hard on 12/06. McCumber Reservoir is done until spring except for ice fishing
Keswick Reservoir: Fishing has been fair to good at Keswick Reservoir
Lewiston Lake: If you can get out on the lake, the fishing at Lewiston Lake has been good

Hat Creek: Fishing at the Power House #2 riffle on Hat Creek is usually productive during autumn.
Klamath River - Upper - CA: Young steelhead are being caught on the Klamath
Sacramento River - Lower: Fishing has been fair to good this week on the Lower Sac
McCloud River: Such a great time of year to fish the McCloud
Pit River: Fishing on the Pit River was great this week, & best in the AM hours
Trinity River: No amazing reports from the Trinity but anglers are getting into Steelhead. The best days are ahead
Sacramento River - Upper: Best fishing on the Upper Sac is the early AM hours
