The 2014 Pot-O-Gold Halibut Derby Starts this Thursday, January 2nd, 2014!
The Derby runs from January 2nd to February 23rd with the Fish-Off on March 2nd. This is an eight-week derby running every Wednesday through Sunday aboard the Native Sun vessel.
There are daily, weekly, and tournament prizes for the biggest halibut. Biggest halibut of the day gets a free pass for a future trip. Biggest halibut of the week wins a cash prize as well as various merchandize from our sponsors. Biggest halibut of the Derby wins half of the Pot-O-Gold or a pass for the Native Sun for the rest of 2014. The top twenty-five anglers with the biggest halibut will compete on March 2nd, in a free "Fish-Off" for their share of the Pot-O-Gold.
Boat departs 9:00 AM and returns by 4:00 PM every Wednesday through Sunday. Tickets are $60 prepaid, and $65 regular walk-in price.
This is a great opportunity for fisherman of any level.

Last Weekend for The Eldorado Overnight Shallow Water Rock Fishing at San Nicolas Island Friday-Tuesday. Boat departs at 9:00 PM and returns at 7:00 PM the following day. Tickets are only $135! BUY 1 ticket on any trip until the end of the year on the Eldorado and get a free pass for next season!!! The LIBERTY is taking overflow for the Eldorado this Saturday for Sunday with an Overnight to San Nic. Same trip as the Edlo, just on the Liberty!......
